Trillium Grandiflora : This gallery is dedicated to one of our favorite wildflowers here in Eastern Michigan - the Great White Trillim. It's fairly rare and is in fact protected by the State Department of Environmental Quality. I happen to be pretty lucky - we have a large patch back in the marshy area in our back yard by the river. 

Just wish we had some of the Painted Trillium. Those are even more spectacular
